Headteacher David Sibbit, who joined his students at the event, said: “We’re proud and pleased for the group this year because they had a hard act to follow.

“They’ve had a strong idea, ethically based around sustainability.”

Globall had the support of link teacher Mel Wright and business advisor David Davidson, from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, whohelped Making Waves last year.

Globall also won awards for having the best company report and best presentation out of the six schools taking part, and came second in the trade stand section.

Globall has nine members, and their finance director Joanne Davies said that the Lakes Partnership of schools had recently placed an order for £500 worth of balls.
