Carr’s profits rise by 45%

CUMBRIAN agriculture firm Carr’s Milling has reported a 45 per cent leap in profits.
The Carlisle-based group said spiralling food prices had helped to bolster its results.
Profit before tax for the 26 weeks to March 1 jumped to £5.17m, the company reported this morning.
