HOW THEY MET: At Purple Lizard Lounge in August 2004.

PROPOSAL: Steven proposed on the beach on holiday in Corfu in September 2005. As he didn’t have a ring, he used a purple plastic ring.

VENUE: Santo Winery, Santorini, Greece on June 6.

THEME: Greek.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: Ivory and gold embroidered dress decorated with sequins and beading, and a chapel train.

GROOMSMEN: The groom’s best friend Adam Lopez was best man. They both wore oatmeal linen suits.

FLOWERS: A bouquet of white and pink lilies from a florist in Santorini.

TRANSPORT: The bride travelled in her dad’s hire car and the rest of the party in a mini-bus.

RECEPTION: A five-course Greek meal at a restaurant in Fira. The 12 guests watched the sun set over the caldera with wine made at the winery. People who didn’t attend the wedding watched live via a webcam.

TABLE SETTINGS: Flowers, ribbons and candles.

CAKE: A cake with a caricature of the bride and groom taken all the way to Greece from Asda in Carlisle.

FIRST DANCE: Zorba the Greek.

HONEYMOON: Anastasis Apartments near Imerovigli.

PHOTOGRAPHER: Kosta Savva.

VIDEOGRAPHER: Gemma’s mum and dad Sarah and Howard Bruce and Steven’s friend Henry Burrows.
