Live the Dream promises a packed day for visitors

The Live the Dream Wedding Event is being held at Carlisle Racecourse on Sunday, September 28.
The event, which is organised by CN Events Management, will feature more than 80 exhibitors, four catwalk shows and a special 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' competition for the three finalists of the Cumbrian Weddings' ring competition.
The event runs from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets are £7 on the day or £6 in advance from Cumbrian Newspaper offices.

On arrival at the event, visitors will receive a beautiful gift bag and a copy of Cumbrian Weddings.
Exhibition stands will be located in the outside area, in the reception area, in the reception adjacent to the staircase on the ground floor, the Bell Hall on the ground floor, the Patterson Suite on the first floor, Melbreak on the second floor, Ullswater on the second floor, and the entrance on the second floor.
A Juniper Weddings marquee will be located outside next to the Bell Hall.
Catwalk shows in the Patterson Suite on the first floor at 12.30, 1.30, 2.30 and 3.30. These will feature bridal gowns and outfits for the mother-of-the-bride from 10 bridal houses from Cumbria and Dumfries.
Each show will last about 30 to 35 minutes and there will be a special display of readers’ dresses from the 1930s to the 1980s at the end of each one.
This special show will take place on the catwalk in the Patterson Suite at 4pm and will feature the three finalists from the Cumbrian Weddings wedding ring competition.
They will each be asked three questions about each other and the winning couple will receive up to £1,000 worth of wedding rings from Jopson’s Jewellers in Carlisle.
Refreshments will be available at the Red Rum Bar, where a selection of hot and cold drinks and food will be served.
