Plans for centenary

PLANS are being drawn up to celebrate the centenary of Warwick Bridge School next September.

Ideas being looked at include:

A commemorative seat with a time capsule buried underneath;

A memory book and interviews with older ex-pupils in the community done by the current school children;

A Centenary trophy to be awarded to pupils;

A plaque naming all head teachers from the last 100 years;

A party for past and present pupils and teachers and the community.

Anyone wishing to help should attend the next meeting on Tuesday, November 4 at 7.30pm, in the school hall or contact parent governor Sarah Hinde on 016977 42650 or via the school office on 01228 560390.
