First-class honours for Zoe

CARLISLE woman Zoe Wanley has graduated from one of the country’s top business schools.
Zoe, 20, of Lowry Hill, has got a first class BA Hons degree in accounting and finance.
Cumbrian mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington presented the former pupil of Carlisle’s St Aidan’s School with her scroll. He is the university’s chancellor.
Professor Sue Cox, dean of the management school, said: “We are delighted with Zoe’s result. This is an excellent performance and a reward for her hard work.
“The skills she has developed will be very much in demand.”
Zoe is going to work for accounting and auditing firm, Ernst & Young in their Manchester office, on their graduate training scheme.
Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is one of only two business schools in the UK to have receive top marks for research and teaching.
